Agreed with the below reviewer. Although that version comes second to my 3rd best mix version ;-) which is the Emmanuel Top remix. It doesn't resemble much closeness to the original as many other good remixes of this one do and could easily be a new track all by itself - which therefor also leaves some desire to hear at least a few more recognizable samples which would have been perfect too - but this is an ab-so-lute acid freaker! Filthy as f*ck.
It will fit any classic acid trance or acid techno set with the guarantee you will get the audience in total ecstacy and embark on a spacetrip you will not return from any time soon. Perfect to jam those knobs and effects (or some current age sample embedding "come on dance with me me me me me"......a few times ;-)), or just let it roll, kick back, sip from your drink and grin while you watch that audience while strobes flashing them into madness.
Sweaty, very very sweaty. Ace.

heavy deep bass on this one. the mix on side 1 is amazing. mine was a bit warped, but I keep it, plays OK, it had some light sibliance on side 2 the first minute left channel. after all this years...one of a must own mixes.

The Mr. Sam & Fred Baker mix is a burner any way you slice it. I prefer to slice it midway and go into some trancey breaks. Your mileage may vary.

Absolutely senseless to bring a repress in complete white vinyl version... Feels a bit like "sell-out"

Seems to be one of the rarest CDs released on Airplay (A label notorious for having some of the rarest and most expensive Eurodance CDMs.) I've never seen a copy of this ultra rare version for sale and might never see a copy, ever. Can someone comment on the sound quality?

normally i hate almost all these post 1992 remixes, as they are 99% "diggedy diggedy kindergarden trance remixes for little child smurf tekkno ravers", not in this case, pretty well done remix, and not easy to remix such a class tune!

After the break this track moves into a Classic Goa Trance vibe for a bit which is why this track is so special. Too bad that it doesn't last. That being said, it is an enjoyable track, but stays to close to the surface for my tastes and would get old pretty quick.

I’m confused, there are other copies of this track on vinyl cheaper on here. Why is this page so jacked up?

"The Age of Love" is the 1990 self-titled track by Age of Love. It is notable as an early (but far from being the first) popular example of trance music.[3]
Released as a single in 1990 on the Belgian label Diki Records,[4] it was produced by Bruno Sanchioni and Giuseppe Cherchia from Italy,[5] with vocals by Karen Mulder.
In 1992, the React label released Jam and Spoon's "Watch Out for Stella" remix,[6] which gained more popularity than the original track and opened up opportunities for remixes by artists such as Paul Van Dyk,[7] and Garry Creen in 1997. 'Watch Out for Stella' was a reference to Jam and Spoon's own track "Stella" which was released around the same time on their 'Tales from a Danceographic Ocean EP' on the legendary Belgian label R&S Records. Stella is the name of Jam aka Jam El Mar's daughter.
In 1997, "The Age of Love (The Remixes)" release reached No. 1 on the UK Dance Singles Chart.[8] To this day, the track continues to be remixed and featured on compilations. As of February 2007, the online resource Discogs has cataloged a total of 73 known releases and 346 appearances on compilations. The track was featured in the hit film Human Traffic based on the UK club scene.[5][9] Sanchioni and Cherchia never released another single under the moniker "Age of Love"; Sanchioni would continue to produce as part of the trance music act B.B.E.
