A band of gypsies has drifted into the desert. Much was soaked up on their previous travels - Tatsuya Yoshida live show, saw a film scored by Morricone in a town square showing, camped with Tuuvan throat singers, and of course heard some klezmer, among other stops. Now, in the desert, highly dynamic gypsy music all flows out during after-dinner campfire gatherings. Full of shadows, bright light, and soulful mourning cast by reeds, strings, accordian, tuba, percussion, and vocals that were arranged by a highly skilled and creative composer. One of the greatest Tzadik discs. Mr. Drees, where have you been since? Please give us more.
