Amazing reissue! Hopefully we will see some more vinyl issues SuperEgo. Maybe even Micheal Penn’s sadly neglected catalogue!

Just reiterating what everyone has said.... this is a sublime copy. First time hearing the album, and it's great. Only bought it for "One" from the Magnolia soundtrack, but collectively it's superb, the D side is just an absolute bonus of amazing tracks. And the SQ is second to none. Everything about this copy is a win! The only downside if I'm being really picky is that I wish it was gatefold.

Enjoying the album. Had to look twice because my Side A has a Side C sticker and etching. Had to look several times and then finally played it to be assured it was Side A. So my albums show Side C and Side D on one album and Side B and Side C on the other. Don't know how many were made with this mistake.

Limited edition, Record Store Day release. A reissue with additional songs that were from the same recording sessions, but used for the Magnolia movie soundtrack. Two albums packaged in a single sleeve. The album cover is cardboard-colored card stock. This is a triumph in package design. The album cover is a different design from previous issues, and it's a beautiful mix of pristine calligraphy overlaid with messy scribbles in dark brown. The two albums come in their own heavyweight sleeves, and although they are not poly-lined, they do have a glossy coating. Each sleeve comes with full lyrics and a note on each song from Aimee Mann that provides context and details about the song. Both albums are emerald green with beautiful labels designs. The pressing is quiet. My copy was perfectly flat and free of any defects. I'm very impressed with the entire package from both the music and the design. I do hope this gets a wider release, it's a gem.

Really nice reissue. Sounds great, excellent packaging with new art and liner notes, and bonus songs for the cherry on top. Worth the wait.

The liner notes on the sleeves are super interesting (she comments on each song with backstory / explanations) and the pressing itself sounds clear with great depth. I got it at my local shop for $35 though to give people an idea of how much this is being marked up by sellers.

It sounds absolutely great. Cannot recommend enough. No sibilance or distortion. A bit of surface noise but nothing too distracting. This was a holy grail for me and it doesn't disappoint.

I'm deeply saddened by the scalpers on this release, it's such a shame. I hope some kind of regulation comes in to curtail this kind of practice. A huge thank you to the store that sold me my copy for just over retail cost, thankfully there are some genuine retailers out there.

A bit steep at 45 dollars but the liner notes alone make it totally worth it. I can vouch for the sound.
