An above-par album, right around the big "trip hop" explosion. The music isn't quite as cinematic as the title would have you think, but it does work quite nicely. THe singles "Spanish Fly" and "Brown Sugar" are joyous and sunny, but "Interzone" is the true payoff -- like an early Cinematic Orchestra track. "Crazy Baby" is good as well, if a little too long. Maxi Jazz (from Faithless) contributes his spoken word vocals to two tracks, but it's Neneh Cherry's vocals on the cover of Guns 'N' Roses' "Sweet Child of Mine" that is not to be missed.
