Incredible album, consistently great throughout, falls under the definition of chillout/lounge but is so much more than what is suggested by that category, which is often a letdown/putdown. I can imagine the creator going through an extraordinary process to get the very best tunes to work with, and the very best out of each track. There are only a couple of tracks out of 18 that don't consistently hold your attention, several of them seemed familiar on the first listen, and not sure why. This is timeless music, to be listened to then to come back to, each time you will notice a small fine detail not heard before. This operates on many levels at once - it's relaxing but suspenseful, dreamy yet intellectual, cool but emotional, varied, diverse, spacious. This is a very special recording, very proud to have this in my collection.

Really excellent work from AKMusique. The album portrays a gorgeous city sound of Lounge and Ambient with French overtones, as is both seen and heard throughout the album. The very generous 18-track CD album is accompanied by an additional DVD with exclusive album rearrangements backing some amazing montages and stills. Highly recommended for fans of deep city Lounge and especially for AKMusique fans.
