Vulture Music Mixed by Alan Braxe. Sounds like a great idea doesn't it? After all, the "Waves" compilation albums from Crydamoure were pretty fantastic themselves, and based on the same idea. Here everyone's favorite synth-pop house producer mixes pretty much everything that wasn't on "The Upper Cuts" together along with a couple of Braxe's biggest hits. And there's three exclusive tracks to boot!

But the mixing on here is just, sub-par to say the least. The CD goes from really fast to really slow at different points, and after Discopolis Alan decided that there was no longer a reason to beatmatch, so he just starts stringing intros and outros with no beat together. And all songs but two are at the same pitch. It's not a awful job, but you really can't dance to it. It's nice if you're playing it in the car or just easy listening though I guess.

I am also disappointed that "Horizon" by Braxe & Falke wasn't included on here, as that was another song that wasn't released, it was only included on a Cut Copy DJ Mix. And for some reason "You'll Stay In My Heart" (Another unreleased track from Braxe & Falke featuring Savage that was only released on a French magazine compilation album called Pop En France 3) is the instrumental version, which makes the track sound really boring. Why not include the vocal?

Overall, it's a decent CD. But between the lack of tracks and the sub-par mixing, it's not worth the $40, unless you really want Haze, Automatic, and the instrumental version of "You'll Stay In My Heart". Otherwise, just find the original versions of the songs.
