This single looks fantastic pressed in transparent white - the cover is excellent quality with great cover art and there is a cool photo of Vega, Vaughn and Chilton on the back - for the completists it is worth noting that the live version of Lover of Love is recorded in France and is different to the version on the LP (recorded in NYC). It is also a wonderful live version with Vega (Suicide) proving his status of "genius / legend" on the vocal. It clocks in at 4:40 and is worth every cent you might pay to own a copy. The complete live concert is included as a bonus disc on the Cubist Blues Redux CD release. The A side, Candyman, is a radio edit of the song from the original Cubist Blues LP - also essential listening. And of course it has the High Priest himself, Alex Chilton (Box Tops / Big Star), playing on it as well...
My Rating: DWYCTOAC (do whatever you can to own a copy)
