Notes

First established in 1957,the Albertbridge Accordion Band has attained over the years,an immense popularity and following. They have taken part in many parades in Ulster and Scotland, and have formed close links with the Ulster Accordion Band of Toronto. The Band, one of the most ambitious and successful in Ulster, has made this L.P. with the aim of bringing long hours of enjoyment to many of their friends. One of their most striking features is the splendid colour and pageantry which is provided by the six standards preceding The Band, and no doubt they will strive to maintain the usual high degree of playing and deportment to which their supporters have been accustomed. So it is on this 'note' that they eagerly look forward to walking in many of the loyalist parades, and playing the ever popular traditional tunes and marches, which are on this record, and which will always remain in Ulster's ''Top Ten'' HUGH DEMPSTER (Secretary)
