I'm really puzzled as to why The Nightmare is in MONO on this release, I have the 1983 VHS release ( https://www.discogs.com/release/10941256 ) that says it's in Dolby stereo.
I am, though, just pleased as punch it finally got released on disc at all.

I'm really puzzled as to why this was a DVD-only release. Why no blu-ray with all the bells and whistles? What were they thinking? Was it cost? That said, the show itself is killer. Both the special and the concert are friggin' awesome! This deserved a much higher quality release IMO. The quality is about as good as a 240p video on YouTube, which sucks! I hope someone else releases this in a remastered and polished version - it deserves it, and so do the fans.
