All of Alien Nation projects should be reissued and re-released to the masses.

April 15, 2008

This is Alien Nations first Album that was originally produced in 1995. It was meant to be released on Pallas Records. But it wasn't and it slept until 2003 when Al T re-mastered it and put it on CDr.

This Project is totaly different to the Earth Defenders Project. It is an diverse album that contains elements of Funk,Jazz and Soul to pure Hip-Hop. The Highlights on this Album are "I'll get by" a very funkee track, "Tell Me" which has some Jazz Elements, "Electric Lady" with solid Fat Jack production and very soulfull Backing Vocals, "Overstanding" with one of Fat Jacks best production, by the way Phoenix Orion and Abstract Rude rock the mic as hell.
"Moments" is a very souful track, too. With a very fine Woman Voice together with Mikah 9 in his soul mood it's not that heavy hitting stuff. It feels like a harmonic relationship with the two voices in Harmony but with passages like "where is my love? My moment in love, i can't find my love!" it breaks up the harmony and creates a certain yearning that will make you suffer for more :)
It's really a pity that this project doesn't made it's way to it's planned release in 1995!
