The Almighty were formed in Strathaven, Scotland, on 19 January 1988 Most of the musicians came from a punk background. The mix between punk and hardrock is a combo that the Almighty really nails on this singel. Devils toy is a raw energy kick in it's simplicity. They never did get a break on American market and that is a shame, for they really missing out on some honest good punk hard rock. If you haven't listened to them give this song a chance.
