Limited to 9000 copies. Housed in a gatefold jacket with a single-sided glossy insert and a 16-page glossy photo booklet.

Tracks D4 and D5 are not listed on the release. They were previously located on the CD release as rewindable, hidden tracks. They appear here after a locked groove following track D3 and can only be played by manually moving the stylus. The first features David Lynch speaking a code towards the end which unlocked the track "The Norwegians" on his homepage at the time. The song has since been released as part of The Twin Peaks Archive. The second piece is an on-set recording of the piano accompaniment to the poem "It was Laura". The poem is still faintly audible in the background.

Track A5 is referred to as "Credit Boogie" in the booklet.
Track B6 is referred to as "Abstract Mood" in the booklet.

Recorded at Excalibur Sound except A6 recorded at Capital Recording and B6 to B8 recorded at Group IV Recording.
Mixed at Excalibur Sound. Additional mixing at Asymmetrical Studio, Hollywood, CA.

Dead quiet, dead centered pressing. Flawless.

The booklet and insert aren’t that exciting (the pixelated image of Laura Palmer shows that more care was given to the wax, thankfully), and the cover speaks for itself.

I almost avoided this since I had bad experiences with the Death Waltz/Rainbo Twin peaks releases, but this is a really great pressing --- seems like Rhino got it right. Great sound quality, as expected from anything cut by Bernie Grundman

Another great sounding Twin Peaks release from Rhino, they definitely know how to make clean sounding pressings. The cover art might not be the best but otherwise this release is pure gold. Definitely worth the wait for the re-release on vinyl!

Great sounding pressing. Packing is also fantastic with full color booklet.
Anyone know why they chose Green and Blue vinyl? Douglas furs and blue rose maybe? Just trying to make a little sense of it.

Oh and I think the cover "artwork" is a very clever strategy to attract only the most hardcore fans to this record. "Chevron pattern? TP-something? Oh, it must be Twin Peaks-related!!" Everyone else will quickly continue digging through the crates and not pay any attention to this oddity.

Does anyone know if this will get a non-RSD release eventually?

Dead quiet vinyl (I think pressed at Optimal?) and incredible mastering (BG in the deadwax points to it being cut by Bernie Grundman) very dynamic and natural sounding! Honestly one of the best RSD products I’ve ever bought! They clearly put work into making this proper.

"Hey, we still only have the temp art cover here at the printers, let us know when you can send us the proper one! We have a deadline for Record Store Day!"

Cover aside, this is another beautiful pressing from Rhino.

Fantastic sounding pressing! Great dynamics and no surface noise on my copy. Fun fact: The last side ends in a locked groove of silence so you have to lift the needle to hear the two hidden tracks at the end.
