Di Scala and friends are more than likely behind production on this one.

Classic Scouse track! Anyone know who actually produced this? Sounds BCD style....

Anyone looking for the (mostly) full length House Of Gypsies Version on CD can find it unmixed on this comp. It's only about a minute shorter.
I believe it's available on some digital download sides, but as far as physical media the only other CD containing the mix has a fade-out 3 minutes early, otherwise it's vinyl only...EXCEPT for this cassette single which has all mixes in full length?? Not sure what RCA / Arista were thinking when they were deciding what mixes to put where...

I believe this is the Rezonance Q remix.

The only real highlight here for me being a Hardcore nutta (!) is the N'Joi version which took me by surprise...not sure how they became involved but it's good they did as they crafted a slower (around 144BPM I think..??) more melodic Hardcore tune for the period (when it was moving more through its faster, more atmospheric "darker" phases..). Annie's vocals work well interspersed with the more Hardcore melodies and the whole vibe of the track is similiar to a pre-Happy Hardcore feel before the big split a year later....remember the likes of DJ Sy giving it some play in early '93....very very decent tune.....aye!

Thankfully we have been spared those awful old skool remixes, we have enough of that bland remix base that does absolutely nothing for any song. In this case the originals are the best.

A seriously wicked remix by the versatile Todd Terry. The main cut keeps the joyous chorus and verses intact and underpins everything with a funky synthesized bass line. I am really curious to hear these dub mixes... but I could see the track falling apart without the soulful vocal. The Bonus Beats would have been a great DJ tool. Too bad it seems they were never released, leaving us with a radio edit instead.

A sassy, soulful number by the unforgettable Annie Lennox. Being the "old skool" freak that I am, my favorite on this disc would be the N'Joi remix. N'Joi do exactly what you would expect them to do...take the original vocal, cut out the appropriate bits, and fly them in over rush-and-twinkle rave synths and one seriously hardcore cut-up break...or is that two? Hands in the air...wotch ya bassbins!
