This is the one to get, for those who might be overwhelmed by Braxton's hypertrophied recording history (and it is indeed of-puttingly massive).
Unlike Steve Lacy, Paul Bley, Chet Baker and Lee Konitz, who also have huge back catalogues, Braxton's is genuinely
polystylistic and very difficult to get to grips with. This one gives you a good idea of what you're letting yourself in for.
