My ALL TIME favorite CD. Not just tech. but all genres of music. The 2x Disc literally changed my life. Perfect track selection from, what i believe to be, one of the finest record labels to ever exist. The order in which the tracks are placed are perfect. From Narkotiks' "blue" to the Cygnus X remix of "Easter Island". This is, in my opinion, Pappas' best work, with his NU Breed mix being a very close second.

As a massive fan of Platipus Records work, I have never been very keen on the quality of the mixing they put up with on there compilations. This time however they have cracked it! Anthony Pappa has done a spectacular job of putting these tunes together, with high quality mixing, and good build ups.

I wonder if some kind of fishy business was involved when these discs were manufactured, because so far I have managed to trash two copies of disc 1. Specifically, after extensive replays of the wonderful "Lunar Sunrise" both discs simply started to degenerate and in the end stopped cold right in the middle of the track. After failing to revive the music on any player or computer I somewhat frustrated got my 3rd copy, ripped the track and now keep the disc in protective custody in it's casing. Still, the fact that I shelled out for it three times is I guess proof that it can't be that bad. After all, there are some really good tracks in here, like the above mentioned one, the Cygnus X version of "Easter Island" and the excellent "Lens of Atlantic Remix" of "Kaleidoscope".
