I have a completely different version from what any Discogs entry shows. Can anyone help me here and tell me if they have the same version too?

Great record, and a piece of history. Glad to own this

Wow, this 2018 pressing sounds amazing. I'm not usually picky about that sort of thing, but it just sounds incredible. It actually blew my subwoofer and I'm not even mad.

FWIW, I just picked up a copy where Xtal is perfect. Nice and loud with no unwanted noise.

"Xtal" seems a bit noisy to me, in addition to other "pressing nasties" as NE1Records writes. Nothing worth regretting buying it over but still regrettable

A purchase of this repress is a step closer to getting a repress of Aphex Twin's "Classics", which I'm in full support. Not that I don't enjoy SAW 87-92 by its own right, it has songs like "Heliosphan" that resonate with me.

As an aside, despite not being distributed by Warp, it's just as clean of a press as a few Warp-based Aphex Twin LPs I owned.

How does xtal compare to the 2013 pressing? It was the one weak spot on a decent pressing.

Noticed a few pressing nasties in mine along the way. Sound quality was great apart from that though.

Can we get a clean copy of the cover art for this release?

EDIT: Did it myself.

Ok, the packaging is not incredible but this pressing sounds very fine. Isn’t it the most important ?
