✔ This is the first any only release on "Hyperion Records" from Phoenix, AZ, 1983.Must have been a very limited pressing, perhaps 1000. The cover sleeve art on both front and back is solid white, with large black text, and a "star" graphic indicating that the album is called "Star Song." The vinyl inner circle labels are yellow. Catalog # could be HR83001 (no dash) or HR-83001. It appears both ways.

✔ This is a very synth driven record. Instrumentation listed on back cover are: Korg MS-20, SQ-10, Poly-61, KPR-77, Suzuki Omnichord.

✔ There are two songs that have late '70s / early '80s drum machine beats. The opening song "Star-Gate I" has mid-tempo new-wave reggae beat & a dubby reggae / raga synth bassline + dub delays on some of the synths.

✔ The other two tracks are droney, warm analog ambient, with analog wind sounds; in particular, the b-side contains just one song "Vistas" that clocks in at 20 minutes of deep analog snyth bass that does a wandering, slow, warm progression.

✔ This artist released only one other album, 23 years later, changing artist name to "The Apogee" instead of "Apogee"
