For a 'Tribute' on the A side, it is more of a rip-off, in this case a cover or re-edit [It's clearly one] due to the fact that the original writers of that track are even not credited ! If Don Carlos or Guidance would have been honest for that release [and I can appreciate Guidance] they would have mentioned the original authors of the blatantly covered track here. Instead of that, all that is mentioned is 'All tracks written and produced by Don Carlos' !!! There is certainly an Italian 'connection' but I'm not sure that Don Carlos is old enough to have been part of [Invalid Artist] or has a voice so similar as the one of Miss Denise Montana, so to me it 'It Looks Like ... Lurk', maybe love but calling it 'Tribute' makes me wonder who owns who :
[tribute
n 1: something given or done as an expression of esteem [syn: {testimonial}]
2: payment by one nation for protection by another
3: payment extorted by gangsters on threat of violence; "every
store in the neighborhood had to pay him protection" [syn:
{protection}]
The two track on the other side are crap compared to the 'Tribute'
