One of the best Armand´s album. I guess that if you know how he compose tracks and remixes from samples, you will love this one. Taking samples and filters to the maximum, composing tracks sampling guitars with extra singers, messing around with an acid house loop, disco looping and filtering again, performing a drum solo, beatboxing, whatever.
If you don´t like filter looping disco samples, don´t spend your time. Sometimes i love to hear it again. 5/5.

It was all downhill from here for him. The point of no return.

A great party album, nothing like Van Helden's other releases. A heap of break beat tracks, beat boxing and just plain dirty thumping party tracks...

I'm pretty sure the track on this album is named Breakdancers Call, not Breakdancers Ball

Goes into folder "When cover art is better than music".

This is one of the worst albums ever made in my opinion. Sampling a guitar riff from the most toe-curling band in rock doesn't help. Nothing ever happens in any of the tracks. He always starts with something plain out annoying, and keeps clinging to it all the way through. I think this might be house and electro for people who hate house and electro, maybe even music in general, but love the fucking Scorpions. No, this is not contradictionary.

I'm not too big into house music (and I don't really like most of Armand Van Helden's earlier stuff), but I really like this album. 'Little Black Spiders' is one of the best tracks, and with its heavy use of the guitar riff from The Scorpions' 'Bad Boys Running Wild,' it barely qualifies as 'house.' I love Gary Numan, so the initial 'Cars' sample on 'Koochy'--inexpertly and indifferently scratched--annoys me, but the song as a whole works pretty well. 'Flyaway Love' is a beautiful track, one I like more every time I hear it. Overall I think this is a really good album, even if you're not into Van Helden or house in general.
