This edition does not have TOWNHOUSE stamped in the A-side dead wax; it is a quieter cut than editions with that stamp.

The 7" single with Diversions 6 and 7 also has the ZTIS 108 catalog number.

The title on the sleeve is printed as "beatbox", but on the labels it is printed as "BEAT BOX".

Durations are not printed on the release.

Diversions one and two become number nine in ZTT's patient incidental series.

what reverb do we think was used at this time

Trevor Horn produced electro with rhythmic hums, key stabs and a ferocious snare-driven beat giving this track a superb percussive feel.

Two drastically remixed versions of the original "Beat Box" from the Into Battle EP.

A few months later, 30 seconds was excised from the middle of Diversion Two (and some reverb changes made at key points in the mix) to create another hit single: "Close (to the Edit)".
