In case you have the EPIC-LP (http://www.discogs.com/Artie-Shaw-Artie-Shaw-With-Strings/release/6285847), although the cover art is hip, throw the disc away because each and every track is tampered with electronic echo.

The above sounds quite good, and the original sounds of the 1936/ 1937 shellac releases are well preserved. The pitches are OK, too.

A must-have for all Artie Shaw fans.
