Aubrey in my mind has always been noted for having a melodic track somewhere in the release and they are generally the one's I tend to pick up the relevant EP's for. For those of you who share this love of Aubrey's more melodic moments you'll be immediately delighted with the A1: A fantastic lush, chordy track that is among his best. You'll have to wait until the C2: to get a slice of downbeat Breakbeat/electro. Moody but a grower. He wraps things up with D2: which embraces latin vibes in a track perhaps closer to deep house but keeps much of the stomp of techno. The rest of the release isn't just straight techno, with elements of dub and house but all failed to pique my interest. Not the strongest release, then Techno albums rarely are, but the three tracks I mentioned, particularly the A1: are worth tracking down. [SEVEN]
