I don't own this release, but I've heard the track B3 on Tresor Records' label compilation vol. 7 (Tresor. 123) from 1999, where it was credited as Ben Sims: Theoretical. I got really impressed and decided to look it up. It turned out to be a track of his recorded under the Aural Emote disguise. It's a really thumping, minimal number which gives any dance floor a proper work out. A storming drum kick with a throbbing bass line and an amazing sequence layed on top, sneaking in and out of the track. Easy to play around with, goes on for over six minutes, but is engaging enough to properly work if played up to four minutes straight and you would still get props for dropping a killer tune. It just builds and breaks down and builds back up again... Nothing highly intelligent, but done with excellence and the clear intent to satisfy party crowds.
As such, it gets both my thumbs up!
