Between Walter Gibbons & Kraftwerk , this piece is a great funky-synthesis electronic piece from outter-space.
Two different universes, "Break it Down" more spatial, robotesque, break electronica piece to play late night, then "The Countdown" is the real funkelektro piece to play at beginning. Real genius from 20's century.

Both sides deliver on this highlight from Aux 88, 2 slabs o funk to rock any floor. 'Break it Down' does exactly that, while 'The Countdown' shimmers like a metallic electro God. Beyond worlds & beyond words- Essential!!

Aux 88 classic! 'Break it Down' used to get hammered by Mr Weatherall (still does in fact). 'Countdown' has some serious funk going on with a wicked 'real time' female voiced countdown throughout the track - track this record down!
