I agree with Casar1973---this is Bad Religion at the absolute top of their game! Such an amazing album here.

In fairness, I often refer to the period comprising the releases of Suffer, No Control, and Against the Grain as the best time segment in BR's discography, but again, No Control probably takes top prize for me among those three albums. And as Casar1973 says, the harmonic and lyrical aspects of this album are the real points of interest---fascinating ideas presented within a melodic (though still powerful) punk-rock setting. Genius material!

As far as I am concerned I consider this as probably my fav punk rock album of all time. Everything that made BR great is condensed in a fast paced and effective punk rock delivery with strong emphasis on melody and harmony - which became a trademark of BR´s sound - as well as the thoughtful and highly intellectual lyrics. Although they reached mass success with later albums with pretty much the same concept I still hold this album as the top of the crop.
