It seems so cliche writing yet more comments on Carl Craig productions, but then I feel this one is slightly undervalued in the same way some have been rather over-rated . This is an extremely danceable re-working of Bandulu's early 90's sound, and is a unique take on the original track. Whereas Bandulu (as so many do) were periodically aspiring to recreate the epic production styles and sparse sweeping chord structures of their Detroit heroes, it appears Carl has genuinely repaid the compliment, with an ifectious dubbed out slice of psychedelic disco, which I reckon captures the rambunctious essence and raw energy of that UK party scene!
