Berry Gordy saw Barbara as a vocalist who could become a top cabaret singer so produced a number of singles with show type tracks on one side and more commercially/pop type singles on the flip which is why we got these abnormal releases, trying to hedge his bets I think he held her back because she had a wonderful voice, wasted on the 'What A Day' side really.
