heard 'we can rock it' at a 'retro' night in the mid-late nineties...funny how it was called retro at least 15 years ago!

Anyway, didn't have a clue what the tune was called and forgot about it over time. Played a tape (remember those?) about 12 years ago and heard it again, asked around and nobody knew what it was called.

Finally found it last night whilst doing a bit of ogs chuffed was I when I heard it?

Absolutely belting track Phil...proper memories track :)

Even though I had both of these tunes in my head, to get the result I wanted was a collective effort, and the first time I went to Ron's studio. So Ron, Steve Turvey, who had engineered my first two releases and Wendy, who had passed through the shop, all contributed to this ep. The studio was in Rons spare bedroom in his flat and to do the vocals, he made a hole in the door, stuck a broom handle through it, and ran a mic so Wendy could sing in the hallway and we would be on the other side of the door, ahh those were the days. I was over the moon with the finished result especially the strings and bongoes which have featured in most of my tunes over the years.
