Gui Boratto absolutely nails his remix effort. 5/5

I can't imagine how hard it would be for a minimal tech house producer to do justice to Battles, given their esoteric rock style and odd time signatures. I oftentimes try to explain the minimal style to my friends... beginning with something like "now you have to appreciate what he's depriving you of, rather than the composition structure you expect..." and then I realize what I'm saying and just give up.

The Field's remix is nice... quite predictable in style with its droning loops. Not a bad effort, but Gui Boratto is the star of this 12".
