Label's press release: "Steve "Stella Nova" New and Beatrice Brown (Beastellabeast) have created an incredible mass of work during their 11 years collaborative partnership. Their music pushes hard, breaking the boundaries manifest in today's mainstream music culture. Steve "Stella Nova" New rightly described as a 'legend' in a recent article for 3am magazine, has over the years, worked with the likes of The Rich Kids, Iggy Pop, The Sex Pistols, Public Image, The Vicious White Kids, Chrissie Hynde, Johnny Thunders and Mick Ronson to name but a few. Whilst Ronson said he was "great" when he was just 16, it is now that he is making the most interesting and valid work of his entire life. Becoming a mentor for the young Beatrice Brown (they met when she was just 15) Stella handed to Beatrice his love of Stockhausen, Stravinsky and Zappa. Apart from her main commitment to Beastellabeast Beatrice has also recently performed and recorded with bands Warrior Charge and Selfish Cunt. Their first album, 'Beastiality' was recorded whilst signed to London's Horseglue Records is now due for release on Love Howl Muse / Anhrefn Records, and is "deranged avant-garde pop with a nod to the future that sets them apart from any of their peers". Their second album... will follow quickly in 2009 and is tipped to be a veritable aural Finnegan s Wake."
