Notes

Catalog numbers: FC 40238 on the jacket spine, C 40238 on the labels, 40238 on the inner sleeve
Gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeve.

Per Tim Neely of Goldmine:
"In the 1980s, there also were albums with three letters, usually "BFC"; these are early pressings of certain LPs that were released at a lower list price. If they became popular, they were re-released without the "B" (as "FC") with a revised bar code (usually adding an "02" to the number on the back) and a higher price."

How do I find the catalog number on this album without breaking the shrink wrap?

Thousands of people wore out their cassette versions of this in the 80´. I stole my copy of Licence To Ill from my sister and listened religiously to it until it was worn out. Amazing how popular this album became to be by 3 white rappers, rock riffs and simple 808 drum machine patterns. It even surprised Rick Rubin himself that it sold so many copies.
Classic in every way.
