Note only disc 4 is stereo (as when it originally came out) the other 3 are yet again presented in pointless mono and again naturally giving the Beatles collector NOTHING new but a flimsy box and poster for a lot of money!

All 4 discs should have come in their stereo mixes of their 2009 re-masters and should have come in the small hole standard with a dinked centre. Not Large Hole die-cut because RCA said so way back in the 1949 format wars! Get over it RCA,

No modern record lover/collector has or uses one of those awful un-fidelity toy auto changers that RCA demanded and thrust upon America in 1949, No doubt the single enclosed adaptor for NORMAL and regular global small hole play of 7 10 12 331/3 45 and 78 records will be pants as it's hole will be again too large and then the record when fitted will swing off centre! Yes It Is will swing beautifully as will Hey Jude after 5 minutes! (Yet Another one of RCA's wonderful bitter twisted and nasty pointless legacy’s, Hutchinsons, you have to make the whole too big to make sure the records sound awful when played on a NORMAL and superior small post STANDARD record players and hi-fi decks, you have make sure that LH 45's only sound right when played with a 1 1/2" posts and not your adaptors.

The finish and fine detail of this package is pants, outdated, irrelvant and not a true representation of 2012, not 60 years ago put to bed technology. (Bet the sets sell well in Australia and New Zealand they never knew what a 1 1/2" LH was or for!!)

A total lack of thought or consultation with what Beatles fans want. The item is not worth the cost as time will tell.

The set should have been>>>>>>>

Love Me Do Ringo Version c/w Love Me Do Andy White version BOTH in Digitally extracted stereo mixes, Red Vinyl, 7" 4 pin dinked OC centre with representations of the UK Gold/brown Parlophone Stereo album labels and custom a Parlophone generic sleeve 45-R 2012

She Love's You c/w I'll Get You BOTH in the DES stereo mixes that have been crafted, sound amazing and well known to Beatles fans via the internet etc black vinyl 10" small hole with representations of the Silver on Red Parlophone 78 shellac labels but playing at 45 rpm. 45-R (S) 5056

Revolution c/w Hey Jude as John had wanted released as Apple 1 with representations of the Apple labels, Revolution using the John/Apple morphed label whole side Hey Jude using a Paul/Apple morphed label cut side 7" green vinyl at 45 and 33 1/3 respectively for fidelity with 3 mins against 7 mins the following text printed in the centre of the 4 pin dinked labels (as a pun to the EMI sales text used in the UK from 1963 to 1969 "This record is sold globally as part of a 4 disc box set see the box lid for details" both tracks In their stereo mixes and cut at 45 rpm in a black non die- cut apple sleeve with pictures of the Mohan Apples APPLE 1

Yellow Submarine/ All Together Now/ Hey Bulldog c/w Only A Northern Song/Nowhere Man/All You Need Is Love
all in the stereo digital mixes created for the song book album 7" cut at 33 1/3 yellow vinyl with representations of the Apple label small hole and picture sleeve miniature of the original Yellow Sub album sleeve as the original EP had been intended and for Ron Kass to have released. YS EP 2012

The package to be in a representation of the original Apple "Our First Four" promotional box package with four day-glow bio sheets as originally presented, note: the Revolution- Hey Jude one already exists and would just be a copy!

That is what I would call a Record Shop Day package (hope you're reading this Universal Music Group for 2013

and for 2014 the single on Apple What's The New Mary Jane c/w Leave My Kitten Alone with the acetate custom Apple labels cut in stereo and at 45 rpm small hole # Apples 2014 etc etc)

But hey what do I know, I'm only a Beatles fan, the pap Capitol have punted shows NO imagination, thought or interest.
