I have not heard any other versions of this LP other than the Parlophone stereo pressing. It's very clean, like most other Parlophone pressings I have heard. However what's unusual to me is that the "stereo" is achieved by putting the instrumental tracks on one channel and the vocal tracks on the other. When listening through speakers it isn't so bad, but listening through headphones can be a little disconcerting. The reason I find this interesting is because stereo had been around since the late 50's and labels like Command made incredible use of the stereophonic medium from day one, flipping tracks back and forth in what is sometimes called "ping-pong stereo." So it is curious that these recordings were divided up with the music and vocals in separate channels.

That said, their covers of such classics as "Please Mr. Postman," "Till There Was You," and "Money" are refreshing and don't seem to get overplayed on oldies stations. I find this a very enjoyable album overall.
