Used to have this one & never loved it by heart..This is cerebral LP & to be respected as such. Nothing more and nothing less.
They are selling it now over any reasonable price because of it's scarcity and not because of it's musical content - methinks.
But that's the reality of it all, this is not the first time nor the last time this happens.
Enjoy the ride !

Have there been any updates on a repress of this amazing album?

Anyone know what the hold up is for the reissue of this title? I thought Beck's entire catalog was getting reissued on LP and that was announced about two years ago.

I love this whole record but dang, the LP needs to be re-pressed. Almost $200 for a copy is a bit outrageous.

Just in case anyone was curious if this sounds great, it does; this album sounds particularly fucking incredible (maybe it's just mine). This is one of the fullest sonic scope albums that can really let you launch into aural space, every level is perfect. EVERYTHING sounds excellent.

The most ridiculously funky record Beck has ever recorded, hands down. The production by the Dust Brothers and scratching by DJ Swamp make this a stellar effort. Being released on vinyl yet again in 2017.

want to know if this record is everything you dreamed it would be? yes, yes it is.

I agree with JM_Magick. This is a fantastic album! It's been years since I've listened to it, but I don't remember a bad song on the album. I played this one out big time. From Debra to Hollywood Freaks to Beautiful Way.... Every song is awesome in a unique way. I gotta find this on vinyl!

I don't understand the lack of love for this LP, not a bad song on here. Beck at his best, oozing together various disparate styles and influences to mesh together music only he can. Great music, truly one of this century's greatest albums (so far).
