Beck ‎– Sea Change

Mine is one of the variants with a scratched out P. USA and the 21570 notations. Not sure what that signifies but it sounds great to me and looks like my other Pallas pressings with very minimal surface noise, was a bit dirty and toss the paper inner sleeves. Absolutely no complaints at $23 for a double vinyl of this quality.

Unfortunately, my copy came with audible non-fill.
That's a pity, it sounds great otherwise.
I replaced it with the EU pressing which came flawless.

To add my 2 pennies, I have the MoFi black edition and its one of my reference albums for the beautiful, clean sound quality. It's a gem of a pressing. MoFi outshone even themselves on this one.

Beautiful pressing, I was worried about pops and crackles do to the quiet music but it sounds magnificent!

I finally got a hold of one of these and compared it to the ones I had. The standard version is very good, I played these back to back and I much prefer the MOFI version. People saying there is no difference are either mad they don't have one, didn't hear this, or have a system that just isn't good enough to tell the differences. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but it's true. I was there at one point and couldn't tell a difference between some pressings, but I'm finally at the point where I can.

I got this for a reasonable price and couldn't be happier.

I just came back after four years to post another comment about how pristine and breathtaking the quality of this record is.... Just sublime.

Hands down, this is one of the best pressings i've ever listened to. A timeless and beautiful album, great mix and master. I bought several formats over the years ( CD, Blu-Ray Audio, DVD-Audio) but this Vinyl pressing by Optimal is something different. Breathtaking and beautiful! You also get a download code for HD Wav Files. (24Bit - 192kHz, 3,8GB !!!)

Solid pressing. Come to think of it, Beck hasn't let me down with vinyl.

This isn't just a great album. It is monumental -- one of Beck's best. It is heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time.

I have'nt heard the standard pressings of Sea Change but i collect MOFI and they have been a great investment if you get in early enough, they keep going up in value so depends how you look at it. My Pink and Black vinyl versions have appreciated nicely.
