Shamefully filthy out of the sleeve. I'm sure the pressing is fine...if you can get to it through all the grit. I'm on my fourth try with this album. I finally got a copy that doesn't have scrabble from the large debris on the surface. Like rocks in your shoe the stuff just grinds in and damages the vinyl as it rumbles down the street in the delivery truck creating hashtag-like little scratch blobs. It's really a damn shame since the music is excellent when it's not overlayed by the sound of a medium sized campfire. A complete 180 from the "I Forget Where We Were" LP by Ben Howard which is exquisitely clean, quiet, and lovely.

Album is great. This vinyl release doesn't sound bad but it doesn't sound great either. I was expecting it to blow me away but it just sounds quite flat with hardly any dynamics. No distortion and the pressing is nice and quiet though. 😁
