Nice warm, organic mastering. Unfortunately, the pressing quality is below par. The inherent surface noise is unacceptable (not blaming it on the colored vinyl some people like to). The labels need to stop being gimmicky and just put great music on a high quality piece of vinyl....not difficult.

My copy sounded great with no cleaning, baffling they let that sound after Lizzy fall through the cracks.

Echoing what some have said below: Fantastic remastering. Disappointing pressing - very noisy, even after cleaning. I think this was pressed at Independent Record Pressing.

Mine is warped a very slight bit, however, has a very nice pressing sound without any cleaning. Not sure why this release is all over the place quality wise.

There are some genuinely great-sounding moments on this LP, but overall it's a disappointing pressing. Even after several thorough cleanings, side two in particular has a lot of pops. And the weird tape whirl at the end of Lizzy is inexcusable.

It's worth owning, but don't pay more than the $23.99 list price.

Improved with cleaning; I think this was a pretty dirty disc. Very good sound, excellent pressing other than some light surface noise at the very start.

White vinyl...pressing sounds very good, nice analog sound. Some surface noise at beginning of side one and a few occasional pops. A proper cleaning should help with this. I like the sound much much better than the cd. On side 2, after Lizzy, there is a strange tape whirl sound that somehow they missed during remastering.

The music sounds really great on this remaster -- I can hear parts of the music I'd never noticed before on the old CD. I will say though that the vinyl itself is a bit noisy, esp. during some of the quieter songs (e.g. "Lizzy"). This LP is worth picking up though -- probably just needs a good wet clean.

It would likely mean on vinyl for the first time in the US.
