The Arnie vs. Benny calls tape is a part of a epic series of prank calls made to a man named Benny Garrick who worked at Al White Motors in Manchester Tn. "Roscoe" was a guy who worked in the shop and could see Benny on a camera monitor while he called him as Arnie or Barney or Roscoe. All of the other employees, and local cops were in on it. It went on for years. Rumor has it they never told him until he was dying. Now both Benny and Roscoe are gone but their memory lives on. A movie made in 1999 called "The Corndog Man" was informally based on these calls.
