This record showcases a band that is still going strong after nearly thirty years. They somehow have managed to make a cross of prog and more mainstream elements, brazenly boasted in "Alive" and quite possibly "Theodora in Green and Gold." The three "long-form" songs on the album do not bore or disappoint. Their many parts and sometimes-recurring themes engage even an "Old Town Road" fan, while the shorter songs are chock-full of little details inaudible the first listen-through. I would give this album a 5 out of 5, but I feel like it deserves a 9 out of 5. Thanks to Big Big Train for keeping prog alive!
