Highly produced 4 tracker, complete with stunning gatefold sleeve. Of the 5000 printed where are the other 4213 (at the time of writing) that have no apparent owner.

Nice one for the GLO purists and anyone who likes slick intelligent sounding jazzy vibes.

Late '98 Clarence dropped this on me after some of Vancouver's finest buds. Buds big. Big. Big buds. Mmmhmm.
The Art Blakey vocal samples on Soul Food are really well used too.

Mr. Nice does it again!
Opener "Soulfood" is pure JAZZ...gorgeous pads, awesome drums...and oh, that piano!
"Pistachio" is another gorgeous piece of liquid ecstasy...this is island paradise music, right here.
"Mr. Nice" needs no explanation, other than that it is the absolute highlight of Big Bud's career. What melody!
We end with "Buds", a tasty morsel of jazzy hip-hoppy breaks. Wow!

This is a fantastic EP, probably some of his best early work. Soul Food is such a well produced track with beautiful piano sections, this tune is guaranteed to thaw the coldest of tempraments. The rest of the EP is flaweless as well showcasing his talent with some down-beat flava as well as his obvious drum & bass presence. This is a must have for anyone lucky enough to come accross a copy of this beauty. I salute you lord Bud!!
