Just got a sealed new one of this loud records pressing and it is the quietest, most powerful well pressed quality vinyl ever! Serious quality on loud records hiphop - must buy more of their pressings!

This album was awesome. But my favorite Big Pun album was Capital Punishment.

"The Creation" sets the tone on the record as Pun pays homage to those who paved the way for him and inspired the bars that grace the wax. From Rakim to Eddie Murphy, if any of them heard this record, I can guarantee that they would be honored to be mentioned on this record.
The whole album breathes wit, aggression, and an overall love for the craft. "Watch Those" features some of the grimiest guitars I have ever heard on a non-grunge record; whilst the Christmasy sample flip on "Off With His Head" provides one of Just Blaze's best instrumentals that he never passed over to Jay-Z. "New York Giants" is a trunk rattler that is the perfect encapsulation of what gangsta rap should be in the eyes of a 90's baby and tracks like "Laughing At You", "My Dick", and "Nigga Shit" showcased Pun's ineffable vulgar humor, that made the giant more human by including these songs as opposed to the brooding lyrical force of nature as in the light of his anti-hero alter Frank Castle.
The Terror Squad provide the perfect team to hype up Pun's genius, playing their position so as not to overshadow the main course (save for Remy Ma, who almost steals the show for best verse on "Ms. Martin" as well as on the album closer "You Was Wrong" assuring listeners not to trip, because the chick writes her own shit) which surprised me, after all the posthumous records I heard from one other passed away NY heavyweight and hearing records that were heavily influenced by the label exec's hand (Puffy) noticeably being on every track. This wasn't like that. Any listener could tell that this was a labor of love that any true hip-hop head will be satisfied with, whether still on this planet or in the ground.
