Very strange record presenting two Frank Sidebottom characters that never really 'took off'.
Billy and Barry Belly are two obese beer drinking, fag smoking northern men who belch their way through Band Aid's 'Do They Know It's Christmas'. It's not exactly funny but it is pretty surreal. Maybe It's making a serious and profound philosophical and political point about the nature of charity giving, I simply haven't a clue.

It's one of those records that there's no particular use for - except to play to some straight people you know, saying "this is my new favourite record OF ALL TIME", and then watch their faces. The sleeve is probably the funniest thing about the record.

I remember having a copy of this when it came out in 1987 and finding I had no particular use for it (apart from the use I talked about above, but I exhausted that quite quickly) I sold it, or got rid of it somehow, can't remember. I probably sold it for 50p knowing me.
Then - joy - many years later I obtained another copy. They are really REALLY hard to find and I couldn't help noticing that a copy went for over £60 on eBay. The person who paid that is either a) in need of psychiatric help or b) a Frank Sidebottom super-completist who simply must have EVERYTHING! I suspect the latter or maybe a combination.
