Not a bad tune on the entire disk. Lots of catchy hooks, great stories, and tight ensemble work. "Zanzibar" with Freddie Hubbard solos is my favorite track. Killer LP.

Billy Joel's jazz inspired album, and probably my personal favourite (although I also really like Nylon Curtain) this album the 1979 Grammy for Album of the Year and featured songs like My Life, Big Shot and Honesty. The recording quality is excellent and all the songs come alive on LP.

Recorded after the eminently successful The Stranger, this album is notably more "jazzy" than previous albums and hence my favourite of all Billy Joel albums. The standout track for me is Honesty which sounds incredible NY sophisticated.

I agree that this is the first release in cd. Actually 50 titles were simultaneously released and consequently numbered but this one just happened to be the first in that numbering. The notes in this submission are VERY confusing as they suggest there was a repress of that first release.
