My copy sounds great. It is a nice pressing - on beige. Mine doesn't pop... it's better than the Medulla maroon one.
No problem with Debut and Homogenic!

Not a terrible pressing, but not the best either. My copy definitely isn't beige though (like the picture). It's that common "gold" color that's more brown. Every record I own that's this color lacks in the sound department.

Lots of different disturbing background noices on my copy. IMO regular black vinyls often sounds better than colored ones. Smooth sound but with less dynamic compared to my CD. The paper quality of the cover is cheap and it looks like a fuzzy blown up copy of the CD version, even a bit hard to read. The vinyls weight is not 140 grams, just 120. Love the music on it, but I am very disappointed in this version.

I purchased the titles in this series of repressings of Debut, Post, Vespertine, and Medulla. Debut and Post are top loading LPs, (insert disc opening at top of artwork, spine at bottom) I'm not positive, but i believe this was on purpose, i know some other artists that are involved with their artwork have done this on purpose (i. e. Niel Young- American Stars n Bars, Time Fades Away). Now as someone else stated, yes i noticed on the back of Debut it looks like it was a blown up version of a too small picture file or something. The Medulla and Vespertine were the nicest qualities of the four, the only thing that seemed to be lacking was the titles on the spine, Medulla being a plain blank black and Vespertine being a plain blank white, and of the four, Debut was the only one with no insert or sleeve artwork, disappointing. the discs themselves do seem to be about 140g at most, and the covers for Debut and Post are pretty thin, but I have seen worse. I have only listened to the Post so far (I just got home with the others) and the sound quality was fine on that. as someone else said, yes, i bought this Debut in a record store for $22.
---NOW what has been bothering me the most is that my disc is definitely NOT beige, it is a metallic gold ! Now it is what it is, but i really wanted it to be a nice pristine light colored beige and it is definitely a darker gold. I am assuming the pressing plant ran out of the beige early so they started using similar colors, as happens occasionally. But alas, here I am finding it to be a report-worthy offense. So until i listen to it, that is all the info i have to share.
-----If anyone is interested in trading a lighter beige for my gold copy, feel free to message me. Im also fine sharing photos.

Great record but I'm not convinced by the pressing, very quiet master and had tracking issues playing out at volume.

My copies of both this and the Life's Too Good repress arrived with slightly torn inner sleeves. Unsure as to how it happened but alas, the records were untouched.

The sellers here are overpricing this edition. You can still get this in record stores for $22.95.

Great album.
My copy also is yeah, light weight, and the sleeve is fairly average quality. Name on spine at bottom of sleeve, with the track list text on the back of sleeve slightly blurry. Is this consistent to this release?
