Ivano Tetelepta is a fairly new name in the game that in just under 2 years' time managed to amass an impressive discography both under his own name, and under his numerous collaborations for top shelf niche labels like Fear Of Flying, Sudden Drop, Tenderpark, Apparel Music, Wolfskuil or Rue De Plaisance. Most of his work is divided between his solo productions and the collaborative work of ESHU, a four man techno ensemble and record label from Nijmegen which he leads and manages alongside with Roger Gerressen, Jocelyn Abell and Daniel Lekatompessy. His debut album on Fear of Flying, aptly titled 'True Colours' is one of the freshest pieces of modern deep house music and a far deviation from the norm accomplished by a unique blend of minimal house, deep funk, experimental jazz and a plethora of subtle influences from and beyond our galaxy.

But I'm not going to talk about any of those aspects. Instead, I'll focus the attention on Ivano's Black Dynamite moniker which is probably his most interesting and unique project to date. Out in the spring of 2012 on Fear Of Flying, 'Busted Loop' was the first release under his new alias and a new glimpse into the multiple facets of his musical personality. The four tracks on this limited piece of black gold are one of a kind experiments in deep house, dub techno and everything that falls in between. And even though, at first listen, it might sound like a simple collection of beats, with each new play the deeper layers are uncovered one by one and the hidden beauty that it hides surfaces and blooms vibrantly.

A one of a kind record that truly rewards your dedication and tingles your every sense!
