I'm the proud owner of a near mint version of this record original and i just got the re-issue. I have to say i'm a bit disapointed with the sound: hyped bass and lacking detail in the high end.
It's not a complete deal breaker but the original sounds so good that some of the magic is simply lost in this version. The weirdest thing is that the edits are different.
For example, on the beginning of My Mind (Vocal), the original has a few revolutions with just the organ/sample sound, while on the re-edit this section doesnt exist and just starts with the same sound and the cymbals.
If you have no other alternative certainly this is better than the awfully mastered digital version that is available, but to my hears this sounds more like it was done from that file than from any original tapes.

I'd recommend this Glasgow Underground comp from 2000 as a better alternate source for B2:

NY House at its finest. How can these guys sound so fresh is a wonder. The Blaze Theme Track has an incredible bassline, and ranks among the best Blaze tracks like Moonwalk.

This is an extremely hard to find record.
It was listed by David Mancuso as one
of his faves that got a lot of play at
the Loft.
