Black Sabbath ‎– 13

I have to echo the other reviewers here, this pressing sounds amazing! By spreading it across 2LP’s there’s plenty of room for proper sized grooves. I’m an early era Black Sabbath fan and to me this is the closest thing to their first five albums. The quality of the pressing and of the jacket is very good.

Side A starts things off with two of Sabbaths’s best songs since Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Side B keeps it rocking until Zeitgeist slows it down with a ballad. As good as some of their earlier ones. It’s really amazing to me how Ozzy’s voice still sounds so good in 2013.

Side C revs it back up with a good heavy Iommi riff on Age of Reason. Live Forever continues the heavy groove. Side D opens with the at first slow, but heavy, Damaged Soul. I love Iommi’s guitar solos on this one and it does speed up at the end. In classic Black Sabbath fashion we get some thunder and rain at the end of Dear Father.

I’m grateful they were able to reunite and put out this album back in 2013. It is a very good, classic sounding, Black Sabbath album and sounds amazing on vinyl!

Don't need to say it's probably a digital master, but fresh and crispy, one of (if not) the best modern vinyl that I listened. Don't fear the sound of the album, it's a superb mastering and pressing. I ordered it this year's July, came with a thick layer of dust on both LPs. Just give a proper cleaning to the surfaces, change the picture inner sleeves to some more serious inners and enjoy this excellent album.

God Is Dead? ... No .. he is alive and thanks to him ! Although the production of the tracks is modern, it has not been killed by excessive studio processing. A lot of compression did not cover the dynamics and vitality. Apart from strong, big drums, there is a lot of space for Ossborne's vocals. The sound is not particularly selective, but full, dense and saturated ... and the music is great ! Hard rock, with long riffs, strong drums and Ozzy's melorecitation.

Excellent pressing, very high quality considering a colored vinyl. No distortion, no pops very quiet. Wide soundstage and tight bass. Flat Vinyls, incredible fidelity, the marbling is suitable, this one is a keeper!

I just wish the 3 bonus tracks was on the vinyl record as well. They should have made it into a 3 vinyl record set! I would gladly have paid more for the 3rd record!

Must own for Sabbath fans. Ridiculously strong swan song.

2 x lp. Perfect pressing. Blows the cd out of the water. Barcode-60253734969. Best Sabbath music since Sabotage (imho). You can hear snippets of old riffs,but its still good new songs. The Bass depth and clarity is particularly good. Great stuff!!
