Pretty damn good pressing. I have heard an original pressing and I thought it sounded pretty muddy and like the band were off somewhere 'in the background.' I prefer this reissue... for some reason this just seems to have a bit more life to it. Not very often I favour a reissue over an original but this is one of those occasions.

I've been really impressed with these colored releases. This one is no exception. Great sounding pressing. Dead quiet. It's refreshing to find a nicely done reissue these days--let alone one done so nicely with colored vinyl.

Sounds fantastic, and I really do mean /fantastic/. Incredible coloring too.

Pressing and sound quality are fine on my copy. Crisp and clear percussion, a good mid-range and bass I can feel which gives an overall 'full sound' experience. And I'll add that the package is nicely done with attention to detail at the utmost, apart from the barcode which I could do without.

i know every one has their own opinions but it is unanimous among BS vinyl collectors this pressing is horrible.the rest of the first 6 BS albums of the 2016 colored vinyl releases are getting pretty good reviews on the sound quality overall except vol.4, i also own this pressing of vol.4 & would agree i don't like the mastering.the 2011 rhino repress of vol.4 is getting overall pretty positive reviews for those who care about sound quality & also it's very affordable.

Fucking Great Pressing Quality! VOL4 is a masterpiece but the pressing Quality and sound by Rhino/Warner is damn great sometimes you could think they sold their Soul to the devil for making great Vinyl records! Great Reissue in Gatefold on yellow/orange Vinyl (matching with the Album) with a printed innersleeve with a large text and pics about the Album and quotes by Ozzy, Tony ,Geezer and Bill! The record has a great low end (thanks Vinyl) and it sounds very punchy, the record also has a kinda "trashi Sound", you can can clearly hear it on Bill´s drums, specally on "Wheels of Confusion", but this isnt the record itself, i think its the production, because i heard some other mastering and theres still this kinda Sound.
