Is this reissue cut from the analog tapes or is there a digital source involved in the pressing? I've heard conflicting things (trying to figure out which reissue pressing of this album to buy). Kevin Gray at AcousTech sounds like a great combo.

A shame so many seem to have received defective copies of this release. I have th rhino release of the first four Black Sabbath LPs, and every one of them is fantastic. No surface noise, no rumbling, no flat and/or sharp edges, no dimples. I'm yet to get an LP from Rhino that I didn't like.

Very clean, didn't notice any surface noise. Also I could feel the drums on Iron Man which is pretty cool. So far I've yet to be disappointed from Rhino Vinyl.

Piling on with the others...lots of surface noise on this pressing. Not to mention mine arrived cupped.

Man this sounds fantastic. Someone mentioned 'punchy' and that's 100% accurate. I feel like the bass is punching me hard in the chest at times and I like it. Big, full sound with stunning clarity. My copy is dead quiet where it should be. A few quiet clicks and pops but nothing terribly distracting. Get it! **Make sure to give this record a good wash first time out of its sleeve. Like most pressings these days it comes with a some debris that you'll want to clean off before playing.

Lots of low end rumble that can damage your speakers. My speakers were flexing in ways they probably shouldn't. Don't get this version.

Buying new 180g vinyl that is VG+ fresh out of the sleeve is frustrating. This reissues' SQ suffers from being NOISY. The volume increase is also there on my copy. Real bad cutting job (thin sharp/flat all around the lip) on my copy. Center hole was to small - had to bore out with x-acto. Another mediocre pressing by Rhino vinyl. They must have used recycled vinyl for this project.

I received two bad copies of this from Amazon. Both had dips in the vinyl. They are cool and will replace, but after the second album the same as the first I don't think so. Or maybe I should, I'll finally get a good pressing. lol

Very sad about this purchase. I ordered this album from Amazon and this is my second copy. This one and my first both have weird dips in the vinyl. I won't order another from them.
