I.i.n.m., the black vinyl version, same year, is identical to this limited edition, now OOP, blue vinyl version, yes? Both pressed at the same time or directly after the other by QRP in Salinas, Kansas, both using plates deriving from the Sean Magee lacquer, right? If true, then why are people over the moon for specifically the blue vs. the black? Wouldn't both versions sound fairly equal?

I don't get it ... would someone please offer an explanation or even conjecture? Were fresher/better plates used for the blue? Did Magee cut a separate lacquer dedicated for this blue pressing? A shaman presided over the production???

Wow! I'm blown away by the sonics of this pressing! Strongly recommended!

Not a bad press just a very quiet sounding one. Which kind of bums me out a bit. Does anyone know if the Sanctuary pressings are any good? And how do they compare to the original Vertigo presses?

I just received a copy of this 2016 single LP reissue from Amazon on black vinyl. Identical in every way except color. I'm guessing it replaces the limited edition color version.

Been looking forward to listening to this pressing given all the great reviews but I have yet to get one delivered from Amazon that didn't have a gigantic warp. Have people found flat copies of this or is the whole press run warped?

Great sound, except planet caravan has a terrible pulsating hiss on one channel that also runs into iron man.
